The Company was established on 1911 by the Grandfather of the actual President and it was an handcraft company. Since then every generation has continued and developed the activity and at the actual time the 4th generation is working in.

The Company key of success has always been to be able to meet the markets and technologies evolutions. 

When established the first activity was the production of leather saddles for draught and trotting horses, as well as large sheets for covering farmyard and transport vehicles.
After the second war it was established the ‘Cinghificio Ruberti’ for the production of leather drive belts. 
In the fifties there was the first approach to the vehicle business by producing little pull-door belts, truck curtains and truck door panels.
At the beginning of the seventies due to the decline of the belt drive, Ruberti has found his way in the production of internal finishing for the vehicle branch. On that period started the updating process by introducing in production new technologies like the Vacuum thermoforming and the high frequency electric welding.
Since that time OM in Suzzara and Brescia and FIAT Industrial Vehicles were customers of the Company.
At the end of the seventies, thanks to the income of important orders Ruberti starts a restructuring program, increasing the area to 15.000 square meters and the construction of the new factory.
After that and in order to be not depending from only one market branch Ruberti has started an important diversification phase with the introduction of new productions like the polyurethane foaming, near to the already well established technology of the thermoplastic materials thermoforming.
On the 1985 the family-run Company Cinghificio Ruberti becomes Ruberti snc. Finally on 1987 changes in Joint-stock Company.
The goal proving the capacity to supply innovative and high quality products was reached on 1997 with the achievement of the ISO 9001 Certificate.
The control of the Co. Mastertech Srl, which plans and produces electronic components and wiring, was achieved on 2000 as consequence of the constant development which brings to satisfy requests of complete fittings as well to start on 2001 the activity of a new trade division ‘’Ruberti Firma’’, which purpose is to commercialize its own fittings completely designed and manufactured by Ruberti.
